Betsy Thorleifson started Nine Cakes in the fall of 2008, with a passion for food, handcrafted goods, and working in collaboration with people. A degree in musical performance, and years of experience teaching and working with children, Betsy decided it was time to quit her job and set off into something entirely her own. So when the opportunity presented itself, after years of baking for friends and family, Betsy decided to take the chance on a new career. The last two years have proved it was the right idea, as Nine Cakes continues to build a reputation for fantastic cakes. Nine Cakes looks forward to working with you.
